Lotus Moon Mandala

The moon she shines
In the silence of your mind
— Ajeet Kaur in the song Kiss the Earth (La Luna)

The lotus is like the phoenix of flowers.

This amazing flower symbolizes transforming suffering to awaken wisdom.

Intention and affirmation: I am rising up from...

Both suffering and happiness are of an organic nature, which means they are both transitory; they are always changing. The flower, when it wilts, becomes the compost. The compost can help grow a flower again. Happiness is also organic and impermanent by nature. It can become suffering and suffering can become happiness again.

If you remember from the Oracle Moon Mandala - the Taurus key words were:

Earth Body

My body is...

  • Envision the garden of your life
  • Engage your physical body
  • Stabilize your personal resources
  • Preparation + determination (with a bit of magic) for manifestation

Here is a link to the breathing meditation we did together: Meditation for Emotional Balance

wallow: indulge in an unrestrained way in
(something that creates a pleasurable sensation)

Usually wallowing has a negative connotation - like feeling sorry for oneself or indulging in self-pity. However for this lunar cycle we are going to approach wallowing as something constructive. Imagine the relief an animal feels to roll in the mud - to cool down, to protect the skin from bugs and heat.

There is so much we hold on to. Wallowing in this way is a process to feel it and let it go.

Roll around in an unrestrained way on the floor, in a bed, in the grass or find some mud!! Moan and grown. Soak it all in, let it all out. This may feel totally ridiculous - good - do it until you start laughing!!!

Set a timer for 5 minutes. Start wallowing and see where it gets you! You may come out feeling refreshed and clean on the other side of the muck.
